oh i do love to be beside the seaside

we are going on holiday how exciting, mummy and daddy have booked a cottage for this saturday for a week in cornwall, so we will be spending lots of time at the seaside making sandcastles and paddling in the sea.

it is hattie's 1st birthday on monday and it will be so exciting to be away for her special day, mummy said that we will go to ptolemy toys tomorrow so i can get her a birthday present, mummy has also seen something that she likes for hattie from her and daddy, but i can't tell you as it is a secret!!! sshhhhh!!!

the chickens haven't laid any eggs yet but seem very happy, hopefully they will soon.

chickens....

We have chickens, mummy and daddy decided that we should have some chickens as we eat lots of eggs and they are very good with children, so daddy's friend darren brought round three chickens on wednesday the 18th june, darren clipped there wings and showed mummy and daddy how to hold them and told them what they eat and then we put them in the chicken house which daddy built under my treehouse, mummy will put some pictures on very soon to show you.

Hattie is getting very good at walking round furniture and is now trying to say lara but it sounds like wawa!!!

We have spent lots of time in the garden over the last few weeks as the weather has been nice some days have been very hot but the last few days have been a little colder.

We went to the town carnival on saturday the 14th june it was very good with marching bands and fast cars (going very slowly) and some of the rescue vehicles from the american airbase which made funny noises!!

about time....

I know i know you start a blog with all intentions of updating regularly and then we have a bad week with colds and teething!

Lala managed to cut two teeth but Hattie is still chomping on celery!!

Daddy has built a tree house on stilts and fixed up the playhouse from uncle paul and auntie beccy, unfortunatly the weather is not being very kind so we can't play out as much as we want.
Instead i have been helping mummy cooking last night we made a lasagne and i got to break the lasagne up and put it on, it was very yummy.

Mummy keeps saying that she is going to make me some nice hairclips but keeps getting side tracked....come on mummy.
